The multifaceted hairstylist and makeup artist started her professional career in New Orleans, La. Christian has been trained in diverse techniques; such as color, extensions, unit reconstruction, manipulating different textures of hair, air brush makeup and more. Her goal is to make the everyday woman of all ethnicities feel unapologetically beautiful inside and out.

36 years strong, Community Book Center is the heart of New Orleans Black literature. Located on Bayou Rd. Purchase books, African attire, African fabric, gifts, True detergent, shea butter, art, and more. Rent the space for events, book signings, film screenings, meetings, etc. Come talk with community folks. Bring Mama Vera and Mama Jennifer their flowers while they still can smell them.
In Congo Square on Sunday afternoons, to different degrees over time, African descendants spoke and sang in their native languages, practiced their religious beliefs, danced according to their traditions, and played African derived rhythmic patterns on instruments modeled after African prototypes.
